Hi there George!
I just read your comments on paranoia (I'm wa-a-ay behind on my email) dated mid-October, and I couldn't agree more.  Of course I've never been fond of panickers or do-gooders, so-o-o-o.
I am 69 years old, not in the best of health, am extremely allergic to ALL anti-biotics, BUT I have a life and I'm living it just like I did the day before the first anthrax emergency appeared in this country.  Should I panic?  Should I be afraid of my mail?  I don't think so!  I still get the same strange, dumb-dumb mail I got before.  I open it and trash it.  My husband and I went out Halloween -- not to a mall, I admit, 'cause I can't walk that much and malls never were big in my life.  We live in Vegas which is a test of your sanity and courage anyway.  So -- we went to a casino (of course).
Keep writing, George.  I love it.

There is a bit of a silver lining. Congress has shut down. They  aren't

Subject: Re: Moments in gun control history

Dear Lord!  I'm so far behind on my email that my computer is threatening to explode!
As to Georgie's little missive regarding Gun Control, unfortunately I have to agree with him -- THIS TIME.  Some of the time I want to shake a couple of his teeth loose, but this time, Dale, he's right on the money.  If there had not been gun control in Russia early in the last century there never would have been a mad man by the name of Joseph Stalin in our history books.  If there had not been gun control in China the beautiful people living there that Al and I met would not be brain-washed every day while they eat their lunch, and one hell of a lot of people would still be alive there.  Also, the Japanese could not have gotten the strangle-hold on China that it did mid-century.
Now here it is Sunday, October 7th and we all listened to the hell being waged in Afghanistan where you KNOW children are going to killed or injured.  This ... coming not that long after September 11th.  How many ordinary citizens -- lovely, nice people living there -- of that country do you suppose have guns???
Yes, this time he's right.  Think about it, Dale.  Do we really want the only guns in this country to be in the hands of our military? ... the CIA? ... the FBI?  Political leaders?  I don't think so.  And neither did our forefathers who had the wisdom to know what Russia, China, Afghanistan learned wa-a-ay too late.  What we DO with our personal armaments is what counts ... and sometimes that scares me.  Because when governmental gun control is absent, then personal gun control must be present.  My personal saving grace is still my favorite line from my favorite book written by one of my favorite people on this planet:
"If you know who and what you are nothing can harm you."

Good Morning Millennium George!

It was great to hear that last nights gig went well and some super bucks came your way.

The winter has not been bad up until several weeks ago.  We are freezing our asses off at the moment!  Is it freezing where you are?  Right!  Bonnie and I are ready for a Florida visit.

I ran into Jimmy Demers (Totally Cellular) at McDonald's and your name came up.  He said to tell you that his son Todd had a baby several weeks ago.  He also would like to know who has the best cellular air time deal.  He thought you would be the person that would know.  I agreed and added that you could and should have been Mayor of Chicopee.  Although, your probably now looking at being Governor of Florida?

Just came off your website.  It's fantastic.  A lot of great memories!  That's about it for now.

Just a short note to ask you a quick question.  I want to sell video tapes of my show, (due to popular request), and I would like to add the iterview I did with you a few years ago to it.  Do I have your permission?  It's a pretty funny little piece and I think people would enjoy it.

Being a long time polka enthusiast I like Dorunda's CD starting with the traditional clarinet polka. To me polka music is lively and entertaining. I'm afraid, however, that not enough younger people feel the same way. Unfortunately, the crowds at live polka concerts and shows is made up of people 60, 70 and into their 80s. Should this continue polka music as we know today will be only available on old records, tapes and CD's......However, Dorunda does a good job. Hope he keeps pumping out the foot stomping music...It's great for the heart and soul.

Polka might not be your standard fare. Nor is it mine. To provide a pleasant break from the rest of the same-old-same-old, there's nothing to get your blood moving again like some lively polka tunes. Dorunda presents more traditional melodies next to a few surprises -- a Christmas polka song?
-- to provide an overall enjoyable half-hour of listening. His voice is a unique one which might stand alongside Weird Al, and in the same way goes well with the niche.

Using a laptop i picked up for really cheap to use for work. Loaded AOL on

for...what the hell.

I finally had the chance to see your web site! could''nt do it before on the

Mac with only 4 mg of memory. Very impressive!! I could'nt believe how many

pictures of us you have in there.

Hope all is well. Stay happy and healthy and talk to ya soon!

Lori says hello.

Dale

Hi George,

Thanks for the reply. I've told other friends about your site and they are

going to check it out. You were right about the Ray interview. It was a

truely unique interview exposing a side of Ray few got to see. Yes when

ever you have a chance to make a copy for me and the Feeding Hills gig tha

would be GREAT! Keep in touch.

Dennis

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your salute to Ray Henry. He was a

great guy and I have many wonderful memories of him to last a lifetime.

I'm glad you had the opportunity to capture him on video for all of us to

look back at and enjoy. If possible could I purchase a clear clean copy

from you of his home interview and Feeding Hills performance? My copy that

I got from Alda is not too clear. My e-mail address is

Karen.Olszewski@snet.net and my home address is 28 Westerly Terr Colchester

Ct 06415.

Sincerely.

Dennis Polisky

By the way, my Dad has seen your Web page at my brother's house. He was

rather amuzed. However, it is funny on how much he does not really grasp

the concept of the Web. Even so George, my father has come up with an idea

of advertising his business on the Web. I told him (and my brother) that

you know how to create Web pages and could probably be of assistance in

this regard. He may have talked to you about this already. If not, you

should call him and tell him I sent you, because I think the idea of Web

advertising is a good one. It certainly couldn't hurt. (The only harm I

think it would do is maybe get my Dad too much business than he can

handle.)

Talk to ya

Paul.

Hope all is well--I'm already upsetting these New Yorkers!!! :)

George:

Regarding your stats, you really are an international multimedia megastar

now!!

Chet

Hi George,

Nice to hear from you and thanks for the link. I really like the site as

well. I had a fellow design it for me as I just haven't the time with all

the performing and production work I'm doing right now. All and all, I

think it is the future and I figured I needed to jump in.

I like your sight as well. I need to hit it again and spend some more time

checking it out. Regards, Rick.

That pic is one for the history books, Fred with a beard and Yankee Rowe

which is no more.

Chet

Never laughed so hard.

Marc

Nice Medical info George. Keep pounding those steaks!

(Although "experts" also say drinking moderately is good for you. If I

remember correctly you don't drink at all. (hanging w/ Chokette all

these years, I'm a bit surprised with that).

Hi George:

Thank you for the nice New Year wishes and, the same to you. Hope you catch

lots of big 'uns and have a great year!

Fishbone Fred

Heck with the helmets, ban bicycles!

What's up George!

How's Sunny Florida treating you?

I just visited your Web page (Wonder how many visitors this

Multi-Media-Mega star gets). It was a rather humorous and well done

page. I especially liked the picture of Freddie with the Horse.

I did check out the Entertainers section and saw a picture of my Dad,

which I thought was pretty cool. (I bet he doesn't even know there is a

picture of him floating around on the Web). Unfortunately, my computer

here at work does not have sound boards so I couldn't listen to him jam

on "Clarinet Polka". I sent the address to my wife's work place where

her computer does have sound capabilities and she says the sound is

excellent, and she loved it. I need to show this to my dad, I'm sure

he'd appreciate it. My brother has all the computer equipment we need.

Just in case your wondering, I got your page and e-mail addresses from

the Christmas card you sent my folks of which I just happened to look at

the other day.

What are you doing in Florida these days anyway? Hope your Holidays

were well. Now that I have your e-mail, I can send you some interesting

executables and such. Take care.

Hi George;

Steve C... He said to say hello.

I'm wondering where you got a copy of the print? (collector's item?)

Hope you had a nice Christmas and a New Year.. Are you playing anywhere

this New Year?

T.K.

Hey George:

Remember Cy Becker??? A funny story was related to me by my brother in law

during our Christmas get together. Seems he was in downtown Northampton and

walking down the street when he looked up and said that guy looks familar..

hmmm ...yep...that's Cy Becker. Cy was standing there intently looking at

something by his car. My brother in law as he was walking by said

"Herrrre's Cy Becker taking a look at his parking ticket".... Cy looked up

at him and said "F You".

Merry Christmas

Chet

Hi, George, Happy Holidays. Thanks for the pictures. I will embarass Patty in

small segments by showing them to her one at a time!

Bill

Anyway, the snow looks beautiful and Christmas will look like Christmas here

in the north. Hope you have a nice holiday.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Jan :-)

Hi George,

Beautiful day here in NE, only 6 inches of snow and more forecast for

Thurs. Have yourself a merry Xmas. Take care,

Bob

Hope you and your family have a great Holiday. Here's a little help in case

you have some translation problems with visitors. The Cummings Family

Happy, Happy...Merry, Merry! Boy, Christmas comes early in Florida (hope you catch a cold, you warm, miserable, lucky #$%^%#^$#^)

Best wishes for a blessed and safe Holiday,

John Baran

Glad to hear things are going well with you. Thanks for the search engine

work. Had us and Ray Henry going full blast at work last week just before

going home. It's fun to be on the internet!!!

Best of luck, keep in touch.

Patty & Bill

Wow. Good luck>

Lenny

Thanks for keeping me informed George.

Stay in touch.

We should do lunch one day.

Lenny Gomulka

george, i must have hundreds of jokes from you (and what famous company i'm

in...)

ever think about a joke page?

how about .wav 's of you delivering some?

and when will you have video?

most importantly, prime time video.

:-)

steve

George,

Sad, very sad. That's all I can say. After getting all your great messages,

being on your web site, and talking to you these past few months I was really

"bonding" with you. Now you say you can't make it for the "E". Bummer dude.

Well I'll keep reminding everyone that you're still around in spirit and

just 'cuz you've moved doesn't mean you don't exist.

Stay your usual happy self and as always in touch.

Roboticus Humorous

p.s. How about the size of those cockroaches down there?

Gee George I was just about to tell you it won't be long til we can see each

other at the Big E again and then I realized you were way the hell down there

in the land of prescription windshields. You're not planning a trip up are

you?

Regards,

Roboguy
