It started in 1853 and is (was) the last paper company in Holyoke. Your video is actually a great piece of paper history and I'm proud to have been the catalyst in not only getting the project initiated, but also having chosen you to for the excellent job with the video production! I wanna thank you for writing me back so fast, me and my girlfriend we're cracking up at what you said and enjoyed the pics you sent. When your collection goes to DVD you'd better let me know about it ok? Oh, and my Uncle is Billy Wilk, he was a Policeman in Chicopee and his brother Joe was acting Chief for a while a few years back, My last name is Velthouse, and my Dad's name is Ken, It was great to hear from you, oh, remember the segment on Prime Time when you we're counting down to New Year's and that guy would jump in the pool and try to position his body in the form of a number? My girl said she had'nt seen that one so after i read your email and stuff, I told her about that and she did'nt believe me, and I said, come on, George thinks of all that funny stuff to do like that. Well, I gotta get going now, hope to hear back from you soon and thanks again for what you sent and call someone in Chicopee and tell the dummy's to play repeats of your show instead of the opera and other silly things they put on there HAHA!!! Bye for now George, I can call you George right? LOL!! Hopefully be talkin' to ya Bye, Eric Velthouse From Chic.Mass. And ive watched your show for years and still get a kick out of it when they show old clips, as little as that may be. First of all i hope your doing well. I basically wanted to ask you if you would happen to know of if i could find out about any old footage you may have done at the fairfield mall, my girlfriend and i are very nastalgic when it comes to the mall, We heard that you we're in Fla. and might not know, but probably do that there's a Wal-Mart there a Home Depot, 99 Restaurant , among other things in the future. If you know of anyone that maybe with your Chicopee ties can at least lead me in the right direction, that would be awesome. My girlfriend would be sooo happy. If you do happen to read this and get the time to email me back, that would be great. I remember some old clips of yours, well shows i mean, all the times at the K FEST, behind the mall, also I worked at Bradlees from 85-95, shows from the BIG E, eating all that awesome food, at Bridge Cafe trying all those pizza's including Mike's special. One episode you we're at the Chicopee Golf Course, and my Dad and Uncle Billy we're golfing and you interviewed them and had footage of them teeing off, including my dad. This email is doing 1 of 2 things, putting you to sleep, or hopefully bringing you back to yesterday and maybe giving you a laff, either way, sorry to write so much and to bother you i'll let ya go now, I hope to possibly hear from you and good health and happiness to you and yours Bye Mr. D. Signed, a fellow(you a former) Chicopian Eric V. From Chicopee |
